It’s a sentiment that also drives Brunette the Label, a Vancouver-based clothing brand by Miriam Alden whose mission to uplift all women blossomed into an inclusive community of followers. Because positivity and empowerment runs deep within her designs, NK is spotlighting Brunette the Label and releasing two of the brand’s signature black sweatshirts emblazoned with a spirited message—“Babes Supporting Babes”—just in time for IWD: an oversized hoodie for women, and, since this idea has implications across generations, a tiny crewneck version for little ones.
Wearing this piece is a statement on its own, but ultimately, it’s a reminder of our essential duty as humans: to elevate one another to our greater good. “It’s a chance to inspire younger generations to carry on the greater movement,” says NK. “We are always better when we work together.”
